Design and Materials

The watch features a 40-millimeter case crafted from grade 5 titanium, a material renowned for its lightweight properties and exceptional strength. Titanium’s high strength-to-density ratio makes it ideal for applications requiring both durability and reduced weight, such as in aerospace and automotive industries. In the context of this timepiece, the use of titanium ensures comfort on the wrist while maintaining robustness.

The black dial is accented with Petronas green details, reflecting the team’s signature color. This choice of color not only pays homage to the racing team’s branding but also adds a vibrant contrast to the dial, enhancing legibility. The watch comes with a Petronas green rubber strap equipped with IWC’s EasX-CHANGE® system, allowing for easy strap customization. This system enables wearers to effortlessly switch between different straps, offering versatility to suit various occasions and personal preferences.

This automatic movement boasts an impressive 120-hour power reserve, ensuring reliable timekeeping over extended periods without the need for winding. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (vph), contributing to its precision.
